Colibri Mosaic is one of the best sacred mosaic studios in Poland, specializing in hand-made mosaics for churches, chapels, basilicas, cathedrals and sanctuaries. Since 2005 we have been delivering sacred mosaic projects throughout Poland – from Warsaw and Kraków, through Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk, to Katowice, Lublin, Rzeszów and Szczecin. Our sacred mosaics adorn the interiors of temples in many regions of Poland.

We offer comprehensive sacred mosaic services: altar mosaics, mosaics for church facades, mosaic images for churches, the Way of the Cross in mosaic technique, mosaics for vaults, apses and presbyteries. We create mosaics depicting Jesus Christ, the Mother of God, the Immaculate Conception, the Assumption of Mary, the Holy Family, the Divine Mercy, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Resurrection, the Crucifixion, the Last Supper, the Transfiguration, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity, the Lamb of God, the Pelican – symbol of the Eucharist, angels, the archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, apostles, evangelists, prophets, patron saints, and biblical scenes from the Old and New Testaments.
Our sacred mosaics are made by hand from the highest quality materials: marble, natural stone, granite, travertine, onyx, Venetian glass, Murano glass, Italian smalti, gold and silver smalti, ceramics, porcelain, enamel, and mirrored and iridescent materials. We have over 3000 shades of glass and smalti, allowing faithful reproduction of every detail – from subtle skin tones to the rich colors of liturgical vestments. We use classic mosaic techniques: opus tessellatum, opus vermiculatum and contemporary techniques, combining tradition with a modern approach to sacred art.
Creating a sacred mosaic in our studio involves five stages: a visit to the church and consultation with the parish, an individual design tailored to the architecture and character of the temple, hand-made execution of the mosaic by a team of experienced mosaic artists, professional transport and installation in the church. At every stage we send photos and video materials from the creation process, ensuring full transparency. We cooperate with architects, sacred interior designers, monument conservators and representatives of parishes and dioceses.
A sacred mosaic is an investment for generations. Our mosaics are resistant to weather conditions – frost-resistant, waterproof, UV-resistant. The colors do not fade for decades, and the mosaic retains its beauty for over 100 years. Mosaics on church facades are not afraid of rain, snow or sun. Interior mosaics in altars, on walls and vaults become the focal point of the temple, emphasizing its spiritual character and sacred atmosphere.
Every sacred mosaic project is individual – from classic mosaic images inspired by Byzantine and Ravenna art, through realistic depictions in Renaissance and Baroque style, to modern and contemporary interpretations of sacred themes. We create mosaics for newly built churches, renovated and modernized temples, as well as gifts, votive offerings and jubilee donations. We also make mosaics for monasteries, seminaries, religious houses, cemeteries, columbaria, cemetery chapels and roadside shrines.
Colibri Mosaic means many years of experience since 2005, a team of talented artists and mosaicists, over 3000 shades of glass and smalti, the highest quality materials, end-to-end delivery from design to installation, an individual approach to every order, cooperation with architects and parishes, regular presentations at sacred building fairs in Poland, numerous references and positive client reviews.
